142 photos. The standard internal spindle taper for Dore Westbury is 2 Morse Taper, so any tooling for that will do, plus a drawbar of course to match the tooling. If the machine has been built to design spec. there will be a Myford size threaded nose on the spindle end which can be used to hold a collet chuck.

Incindentally, this is very similar to the arrangement on my DoreWestbury mill. The only difference is that an oring is used instead of a spring washer. HTH Mike. above is a photo of the unmachined westbury head and tee can be used to make up the missing parts for my "headless dw mill". i`ve realised that this head casting can be adapted to the same specification as the dore westbury mk2 head, which will enable westbury owners to update their machines to the later specification.

The model is called DoreWestbury Mk2 but there does not seem to be much info around on how to convert it into a CNC mill. There is a good possibility that this was made from a kit. It is a nice little machine for that type of use. As far as a CNC conversion I haven't heard much either.
