From what I've read, the mini mill would most likely have less runout/wobble issues than a drill press. I could use it to make metal (and wooden) parts for jigs, tool accessories, and whatever else. I prefer the variable speed opposed to changing belt positions in a press. I've also seen an adapter that can attach a router motor to the mini mill.
